Hello! I’m a 53-year-old single woman who’s always been in good shape and have taken great care of both my health and appearance. Several months ago, my much-beloved mother passed away. I unexpectedly found myself dealing with the grief through emotional eating and, to my dismay, eventually put on 30 lbs.
The good news is that I’m feeling much better about her passing and am very determined to lose the weight. I know I will soon get back to my normal, fit self! I’ve already begun a 90-day challenge to get there and I’m seeing great results. I’ve been eating very healthy, fresh organic foods and drinking tons of water. I run and lift weights for a hour every morning. at 5 AM. It’s so great to see how well my body is responding, and I’m so grateful.
Unfortunately, while my body’s looking great, my face is looking worse as the pounds drop. I would so love to have a pretty face again to go with my newly restored fit, trim shape. Unfortunately, there’s no way I can afford the $8,000 price tag. I went to see a highly recommended surgeon where I live, and was both encouraged and dismayed by that cost.
Could there possibly be a kind soul out there who would reward my fitness efforts by helping me with this? It seems like so much to ask, especially from a stranger. But I thought there’d be little harm in trying.
I believe in people, in life and the power of the human force of will to overcome incredible adversity. I’m a very grateful and lucky person, with no complaints in life. If I could find a way to accomplish this, it would be amazing.
I should mention that I realize that beauty is really about what’s inside, not what’s on the outside. As a Christian, I know I’m deeply loved for who I really am, not what I look like (as we all are). So, if I don’t find a way to do this, my life will still be an amazing gift to me and I’ll still live it to the absolute fullest. Some of the most beautiful people I know are nothing much to look at on the outside. : )
